Black History Month Spotlight: Women of Colour in Health

Following the set theme of Women’s Wellbeing and Feminine Health, the discussion highlighted the experiences and contributions of women of colour in health. The sub-focus areas were entirely explored, with strong emphasis placed on Endometriosis by Emma Enersto – Endometriosis UK, Fibroids by Aaliyah Hudson and Rhona Bicette – Self Help Hub 4 Women. The conversation also covered Women’s Wellness and Self-Care, led by Oyinka Yusuff – Moss and Glow alongside all the panellists.

2. SPEAKER BRIEFING

Purpose of the Event

To create an open, empowering space for women to share knowledge, personal stories, and insights on feminine health issues — specifically fibroids, PCOS, and endometriosis — and to amplify the voices of women of colour in health and wellbeing.
